When I think of a Japanese forest my mind drifts to a humid, refreshing, ominous, yet very serene environment. This bar was inspired by that image. 

Fermented rice water, sake, and authentic indigo were interlaced with rice puree, aloe vera, sea moss, and tussah silk. And conscientiously scented with rich hinoki wood, also known as Japanese cypress, vetiver, rosemary, and ylang-ylang essential oils. 

It's herbaceous yet delicately floral. 

Ingredients: Fermented rice water, Lye*, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil, Shea butter, Sake, Sea moss, Aloe Vera purée, Indigo powder, essential oil blend, and tussah silk.

*None remains after saponification

Scent:  hinoki wood, vetiver, rosemary, and ylang ylang essential oils.
